Tenders
Authorities of Tyumen Region and the information agency TRADE.SU Ltd signed agreement of cooperation last week. Under this contract a unified information space will be created in the region containing complete descriptions of all governmental and commercial procurement orders. System subscribers will be able to receive updates on all orders announced for Russia and CIS countries. Related legislation, order details and Internet trading tools will also be available online.

Investigators of Tyumen Region closed the criminal case against Vladimir Nozdrachev, director of TyumenEnergoBank JSC. Central Bank of Russia recalled this bank’s license in December 2008. Bankruptcy proceedings took more than 6 months to fulfill.
Khanty-Mansiisk Autonomous District – Yugra
High-profile client
The Bank of Khanty-Mansiisk will cooperate with the Ministry of Defense of Russia. It gained the right to deliver cash to military and civil employees of the Ministry.
Spirit of Fire
The VIII International Debut Film Festival of Cinematography “Spirit of Fire” closed its work in Khanty-Mansiisk on March 4, 2010. Debut films of 2009 participated in the competition. The Festival also featured a retrospect of Russian old movies and films devoted to teaching, childhood and youth.
Inauguration
Natalia Komarova officially became the governor of Yugra on March 1, 2010. She spoke of renovating infrastructure, improving the quality of processing of energy resources and delegating powers to public organization and common citizens as prime goals of her work in the governor’s seat.
Ex-governor of the region Alexander Filipenko was approved by the Council of the Federation for the job of auditor at the Accounts Chamber of Russia.
Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District
Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Yamal unanimously approved Dmitry Kobylkin for the governor’s job. He was put forward by the Russian President. President’s plenipotentiary envoy in the Ural Federal District Nikolai Vinnichenko was also present during the voting procedure.
Supporting farmers
District budget of Yamal has allocated nearly one billion rubles to support local agricultural complex in the past 2 months. Most of the money was given to deer farmers and venison producers. Fish industry also received budget subsidies.
Orders of Merits
Ex-governor of Yamal Yury Neelov was awarded an Order of Merits of III degree for long-term and faithful service to the country. Dmitry Medvedev signed the order on February 24, 2010. Ex-governors of neighboring regions, Alexander Filipenko (Yugra) and Eduard Rossel (Sverdlovsk Region) also received honorable awards of the same class.
